Product Description

This lipid was shown to exhibit excellent bacteriostatic effects. Moreover, it is a mild nonionic surfactant qualitatively similar to monoglyceride surfactants that are frequently used as food emulsifiers. Its use as a potential food additive and its metabolism and nutritional effects in mice have been described.
