Product Description
Lysophosphatidic acids exert a wide range of biological activities that include stimulation of cell proliferation, smooth muscle contraction, platelet aggregation, neurite retraction and cell motility. Lysophosphatidic acids also induce calcium mobilization in cells via a G-protein coupled receptor. 1-Oleoyl lysophosphatidic acid is the most potent of the lysophosphatidic acids with an EC50 of 0.2nM for calcium mobilization in A431 carcinoma cells. The product was shown to stimulate DNA synthesis in quiescent fibroblasts.
