Product Description

Binds to TRPV1 receptors expressed in HEK 293 cells (K_i=5.8nM) and to native rat TRPV1 receptors (K_i=4.8nM). At least 40-fold more potent than capsazepine (Prod. No. ALX-550-145). Blocks capsaicin-induced currents in oozytes expressing TRPV1 (IC₅₀=3.9nM). Potently blocks pain responses elicited by capsaicin (Prod. No. ALX-550-066) in vivo.
