Product Specification
SPECIES CROSSREACTIVITY:
Human
Mouse
MW: ~40kDa (SDS-PAGE).
SOURCE/HOST: Produced in HEK 293 cells. The extracellular domain of human BCMA (aa 2-54) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1.
CONCENTRATION: 1mg/ml after reconstitution.
PURITY: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE)
FORMULATION: Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
ENDOTOXIN CONTENT: <0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; BioWhittaker).
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute with 50µl of sterile water. Further dilutions should be made with medium containing 5% fetal calf serum or a carrier protein.
SPECIFICITY: Binds human and mouse BAFF and APRIL.
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY: Blocks the binding of BAFF and APRIL to their receptors BCMA and TACI, inhibiting BAFF- and APRIL-mediated B cell activation.
APPLICATION: Flow Cytometry: Detection of membrane-bound mouse BAFF and human APRIL in combination with fluorescently labelled Ab to IgG1.
SHIPPING: SHIPPED ON BLUE ICE
LONG TERM STORAGE: -20°C
USE/STABILITY: Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20°C.
HANDLING: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20°C.
