General Information
SLAM (CDw150) is present on the surface of T and B cells, and is a self-ligand mediating T and B cell interactions. Absence of an inhibitor (SAP) which blocks recruitment of the signal transduction molecule SHP-2 to its docking site in the SLAM cytoplasmic region is associated with X-linked lymphoproliferative disease [1].

General Information
Human Thy-1 is a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily expressed in various cell types, particularly in cells of the neuronal system, activited microvascular endothelial cells, fibroblasts and blood stem cells. Thy-1 is involved in cell adhesion. Human Thy-1 interacts with the integrin αvβ3 (CD51/CD61) and Mac-1 (CD11b/CD18). In astrocytes, binding of Thy-1 to beta3-integrin promotes focal adhesion formation.
