SPECIES CROSSREACTIVITY:
Human
MW: ~50kDa (SDS-PAGE).
SOURCE/HOST: Produced in HEK 293 cells. The cysteine-rich region of human CD137 (4-1BB) (aa 1-186) is fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1.
CONCENTRATION: 1mg/ml after reconstitution.
PURITY: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE)
FORMULATION: Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
ENDOTOXIN CONTENT: <0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Bio Whittaker).
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute with 50µl sterile water. Further dilutions should be made with medium containing 5% fetal calf serum or a carrier protein.
SPECIFICITY: Binds human CD137L (4-1BBL).
APPLICATION: Can be used together with anti-human IgG1 PAb to detect membrane-bound human CD137.
Functional Application: Induces proliferation of monocytes.
Note: Induction of monocyte proliferation by CD137 required immobilization of the CD137 protein, e.g. by coating of the protein to the surface of the tissue culture dishes.

LONG TERM STORAGE: -20°C
USE/STABILITY: Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20°C.
HANDLING: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20°C.
