SPECIES CROSSREACTIVITY:	Human Mouse
MW:	~54kDa (SDS-PAGE).
SOURCE/HOST:	Produced in HEK 293 cells. The cysteine-rich region (aa 21-193) of human CD40 is fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1.
CONCENTRATION:	1mg/ml after reconstitution.
PURITY:	≥95% (SDS-PAGE)
FORMULATION:	Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
ENDOTOXIN CONTENT:	<0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Bio Whittaker).
RECONSTITUTION:	Reconstitute with 50µl sterile water. Further dilutions should be made with medium containing 5% fetal calf serum or a carrier protein.
SPECIFICITY:	Binds human and mouse CD40L (CD154).
APPLICATION:	Can be used together with anti-human IgG1 PAb to detect membrane-bound human or mouse CD40L. CD40:Fc should be used at concentrations between 1 and 100µg/ml depending on the level of CD40L surface expression.
