SOURCE/HOST: Produced in HEK 293 cells. The extracellular domain of mouse CD70 (CD27L) (aa 52-195) is fused at the N-terminus to a linker peptide (11 aa) and a FLAG®-tag.
CONCENTRATION: 0.1mg/ml after reconstitution.
PURITY: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE)
FORMULATION: Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
ENDOTOXIN CONTENT: <0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Bio Whittaker).
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute with 100µl sterile water. Further dilutions should be made with medium containing 5% fetal calf serum or a carrier protein.
SPECIFICITY: Binds to human and mouse CD27.
APPLICATION: Can be used together with anti-FLAG® MAb to detect membrane-bound human and mouse CD27. rmsCD70 saturates its receptor at a concentration range of 0.06-60ng/ml.

USE/STABILITY: Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20°C.

General Information
The CD27 ligand (CD27L, CD70) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family. CD27L is a type II, transmembrane protein. Engagement of CD27 by CD27L induces recruitment of TNF receptor-associated factor 2 (TRAF2) and TRAF3. CD27-CD70 interactions have been reported to be involved in several different immune mechanisms such as T, NK and B lymphocytes interactions and costimulation, early thymic differentiation, autoimmune and viral diseases and apoptosis. CD70 is a marker for mature B cells.
