IMMUNOGEN: Recombinant mouse ANGPTL4 (angiopoietin-like protein 4).
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes mouse ANGPTL4. Weakly cross-reacts with the coiled-coil domain (CCD) of mouse ANGPTL4. Detects bands of ~18 and ~62kDa by Western blot. Does not cross-react with other ANGPTL family proteins.
APPLICATION: ELISA (direct and indirect: 1:500-1:5’000)
Western Blot (1:500-1:5’000 using ECL. Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is PBST containing 0.05% Tween 20 and 5% skim milk. Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at room temperature).
Optimal conditions must be determined individually for each application.

General Information
Cathepsin L [EC 3.4.22.15] is a lysosomal endopeptidase belonging to the papain family of the closely related cysteine proteases superfamily. The enzyme is ubiquitously distributed in the lysosomes of all cells and seems to be involved in a variety of disorders in which the pathological destruction of the extracellular matrix is one of the main characteristics.
