SPECIES CROSSREACTIVITY:
Human
CLONE: APO-1-1
ISOTYPE: Mouse IgG1
PURITY: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE).
FORMULATION: APO-1-1-Purified: Liquid. 0.1mg/ml in PBS.
APO-1-1-Biotin and -FITC: Liquid. In 1ml 50mM TRIS, pH 7.4, containing 100mM sodium chloride, 1% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.
IMMUNOGEN: Human Fas (CD95; APO-1).
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes human Fas.
APPLICATION: Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections):
APO-1-1 (ALX-805-022; IgG1) is an isotype-switch variant of the original clone APO-1-3 (ALX-805-020). Since undesired side reactions in immunohistochemistry are minimal for IgG1 antibodies, APO-1-1 is especially useful for immunohistology on cryostat sections and on cytospin preparations [1].
Note: Not suitable for stainings on paraffin sections.

Flow Cytometry:
APO-1-1-Purified: 1-2µg/ml
APO-1-1-Biotin and -FITC: 1:20

Functional Application:
Induces apoptosis upon cross-linking [2].

Optimal conditions must be determined individually for each application.
SHIPPING: SHIPPED ON BLUE ICE
LONG TERM STORAGE: +4°C
HANDLING: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. After opening aliquot contents and store at -20°C.
