IMMUNOGEN: Aldosterone.
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes human, rat, rabbit and chicken MR (mineralocorticoid receptor). Detects a band of ~116kDa by Western blot.
APPLICATION: Immunocytochemistry
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin sections)
: (1:100) Staining is blocked by pre-incubating the sample with aldosterone.
Western Blot: (1:250) [ECL: Enhanced detection systems like enhanced chemiluminescence are recommended].
Functional Application: Blocks the binding of aldosterone to the MR.
Note: Not suitable for immunoprecipitation.
