FORMULATION: Liquid. Ascites diluted in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide.
IMMUNOGEN: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 533-547(G533LPQVYPPYLNYLRP547) of N-terminal human PR (progesterone receptor) DNA binding domain.
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes both the A and B forms of human, mouse, rat, bovine, rabbit and monkey PR. Detects bands of 94kDa (A form)  and 120kDa (B form) by Western blot. Does not cross-react with AR (androgen receptor), ER (estrogen receptor) or GR (glucocorticoid receptor).
APPLICATION: Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections, paraffin sections (5µg/ml)
