Product Description

Cell permeable inhibitor of necrosis. Selectively blocks oxidative stress-induced necrotic cell death (~3µM IM-54 prevented ~50% cell death in HL60 cells exposed to 100µM H₂O₂). Does not protect etoposide-induced apoptosis or display antioxidant properties. Does not affect S6K1 and PKC kinase activities at concentrations of 50µM.
