General Information
The RGMA is an GPI-anchored protein involved in the axon guidance and is predominantly expressed in the developing and adult central nervous system in mouse. RGMA inhibits mammalian CNS neurite outgrowth. The protein acts as co-receptor of the bone morphogenetic protein. The mature RGMA protein is proteolytically processed and is glycosylated.
