Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections, paraffin sections): Can be used to stain cryostat sections or cell smears; recommended are the alkaline phosphatase-anti-alkaline-phosphatase (APAAP), or peroxidase anti-peroxidase (PAP) procedures or the three stage immunoperoxidase technique on acetone-fixed cryostat sections.
