Product Description

Flavonoid. Protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor. PGF_2a receptor antagonist. In astrocytes, these receptors are linked to phospholipase C, thus affecting phosphoinositide hydrolysis and intracellular Ca²⁺ levels. Inhibits myo-inositol uptake and 5’-iodothyronine deiodinase. Prevents TNF-α stimulated upregulation of VCAM-1, ICAM-1 and E-selectin. Enhances adiponectin expression.
