Product Description

Potent, cell permeable synthetic peptides that irreversibly inhibit activities of each of the caspase-family proteases. YVAD, VDVAD, DEVD, LEVD, WEHD, VEID, IETD, LEHD, and AEVD are the recognition sequences for caspase-1, -2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -9, and -10. VAD is a general caspase inhibitor that inhibits all known caspases. Z-FA-FMK is a negative control for FMK inhibitors.

General Information

BACKGROUND/TECHNICAL INFORMATION	We recommend using 1’000x dilutions for inhibiting caspase activity in Jurkat cell culture (e.g. add 1µl to 1ml of culture medium). Optimal doses may vary for different cells and culture conditions and must be determined individually
