SOURCE/HOST: Recombinant human matriptase (aa 596-855) fused at the N-terminus to a His-tag.
CONCENTRATION: 100nM
PURITY: ≥98% (SDS-PAGE)
FORMULATION: Liquid. In 100mM TRIS, pH 9.0, containing 200mM sodium chloride, 1mM β-mercaptoethanol and 10% glycerol.
ACTIVITY: Trypsin-like serine protease.
SPECIFIC ACTIVITY: ~2.5U/µl. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that releases 1nmol of AMC per min. at 37°C in the presence of 50µM of Boc-Gln-Ala-Arg-AMC.
