Product Description

Inhibitor of diacylglycerol acyltransferase (DGAT). Shows inhibitory effect in rat liver microsomes (IC₅₀=10.2µM) and Raji cells (IC₅₀=15.5µM). Excessive accumulation of triacetylglycerol produced by DGAT may cause fatty liver, obesity and hypertriglyceridemia, which may lead to atherosclerosis, diabetes and metabolic disorders.
