SPECIES CROSSREACTIVITY:	Human Mouse Rat
SOURCE/HOST:	Produced in HEK 293 cells. The extracellular domain of human Fas (aa 7-154) is fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1.
CONCENTRATION:	1mg/ml after reconstitution.
KIT/SET CONTAINS:	50µg of Fas (human):Fc (human) (recombinant) (Prod. No. ALX-522-002) and 20µg of Enhancer for Receptors (Prod. No. ALX-203-001), which increases the inhibitory activity by ~20- to 50-fold to a concentration range of 0.5-5µg/ml.
PURITY:	≥95% (SDS-PAGE).
FORMULATION:	Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
RECONSTITUTION:	Reconstitute Fas:Fc with 50µl and enhancer with 20µl sterile water. Further dilutions should be made with medium containing 5% fetal calf serum or a carrier protein.
SPECIFICITY:	Fas:Fc binds human, mouse and rat FasL (APO-1L; CD95L; CD178).
APPLICATION:	Inhibits the activity of human and mouse soluble Fas ligand (sFasL) and thereby sFasL-mediated lysis of Fas sensitive cells. Concentration of rhFas:Fc required to inhibit may vary depending on the cell viability and the concentrations of sFasL used to kill the cells.

LONG TERM STORAGE:	-20°C
USE/STABILITY:	Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20°C.
HANDLING:	Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20°C.
