SOURCE/HOST: Produced in E. coli. Human IL-1β (interleukin-1β) (aa 117-270) is fused to a linker peptide (10 aa) and an N-terminal FLAG®-tag.
CONCENTRATION: 0.1mg/ml after reconstitution.
PURITY: ≥90% (SDS-PAGE)
FORMULATION: Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
ENDOTOXIN CONTENT: <0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Bio Whittaker).
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute with 100µl sterile water.
SPECIFICITY: Binds to human IL-1R (interleukin-1 receptor).
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY: Activates the NF-κB pathway.

LONG TERM STORAGE: -20°C
