Product Specification
SPECIES CROSSREACTIVITY:
Human
Mouse
Dog
CLONE: 8E4
ISOTYPE: Mouse IgG1
PURITY DETAIL: Purified from serum-free cell culture supernatant by subsequent thiophilic adsorption and size exclusion chromatography.
FORMULATION: Lyophilized from 1ml 2x PBS, 0.09% sodium azide, PEG and sucrose.
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute in 1ml distilled water (15 min., RT).
IMMUNOGEN: Synthetic peptide corresponding to human β-catenin aa 27-37.
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes human, mouse, rat (weak) and dog β-catenin. Recognizes an epitope between aa 27-37 and an additional epitope in the C-Terminal region (see [5]).
Note: For specific detection of dephospho-β-catenin use Prod. No. ALX-804-259.
APPLICATION: Flow Cytometry (see Lit. Ref. [3])
Immunocytochemistry (see Lit. Ref. [4])
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin sections) (see Lit. Ref. [3])
Western Blot: 0.5µg/ml for HRPO/ECL detection. Recommended blocking buffer CPPT: 10mM TRIS-HCl, pH 7.4, 0.5% (w/v) casein, 1% (w/v) PEG 4’000, 1% (w/v) polyvinylpyrrolidone, 0.1% (v/v) Tween 20, 150mM sodium chloride.
BSA may be used alternatively but milk is not recommended for blocking and dilution!
