Human
Mouse
Rat
CLONE: 6H2.B4
ISOTYPE: Mouse IgG1
CONCENTRATION: 0.5mg/ml
PURITY DETAIL: Protein G-affinity purified.
FORMULATION: Liquid. In PBS containing 0.2% gelatin and 0.05% sodium azide.
IMMUNOGEN: Tissue-derived mouse cytochrome c.
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes native human, mouse and rat cytochrome c and immunoprecipitates the native protein of ~15kDa. Does not cross-react with denatured cytochrome c.
APPLICATION: Immunocytochemistry (see [4,6])
Immunohistochemistry (frozen section (2-4µg/ml))
Immunoprecipitation (2µg/106 cells)
Functional Application (blocks pro-apoptotic effect of cytosolic cytochrome c)
Note: Not recommended for Western blot. For Western blot use MAb to Cytochrome c (denatured) (7H8.2C12) (Prod. No. ALX-804-245).
