Others
CLONE: ECCD-2
ISOTYPE: Rat IgG2a
SOURCE/HOST: Obtained by fusing the P3-X63-Ag8 myeloma cell line with splenocytes of Donryu rat immunized with mouse liver E-cadherin fragment.
CONCENTRATION: 2mg/ml after reconstitution.
PURITY DETAIL: Purified from serum-free culture supernatant by ammonium sulfate precipitation and anion exchange chromatography.
FORMULATION: Lyophilized from 20mM TBS, pH 7.5, containing 1% BSA. Contains no preservatives.
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute with 50µl distilled water. Dilute with 20mM TBS, pH 7.4, 10mM CaCl2, 1.0% BSA. Reconstituted solution should contain 0.1% sodium azide as a preservative when stored at +4°C.
IMMUNOGEN: Mouse liver E-cadherin fragment.
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes human, mouse and dog E-cadherin. Does not cross-react with bovine or chicken E-cadherin.
APPLICATION: Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections (10µg/ml), not recommended for paraffin sections)
Western Blot (10µg/ml)
Functional Application Does not inhibit E-cadherin dependent cell-cell contact and can be used to analyze the mechanism.
SHIPPING: SHIPPED ON BLUE ICE
SHORT TERM STORAGE: +4°C
LONG TERM STORAGE: -20°C
HANDLING: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles. After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20°C.
