SPECIES CROSSREACTIVITY:	Mouse
CLONE:	ECCD-1
ISOTYPE:	Rat IgG2b
SOURCE/HOST:	Obtained by fusing the P3-X63-Ag8-U1 myeloma cell line with splenocytes of Wistar rat immunized with mouse teratocarcinoma cell line F9. Purified from serum-free cell culture supernatant.
CONCENTRATION:	2mg/ml after reconstitiution.
FORMULATION:	Lyophilized from ascites, dissolved in 10mM PBS, pH 7.4, containing 1.0% BSA.
RECONSTITUTION:	Reconstitute with 50µl distilled water. Dilute with 20mM TBS, pH 7.4, 10mM CaCl₂, 1.0% BSA. Reconstituted solution should contain 0.1% sodium azide as a preservative when stored at +4°C.
IMMUNOGEN:	Mouse teratocarcinoma cell line F9.
SPECIFICITY:	Recognizes mouse E-cadherin. Epitope is close to the N-terminus of E-cadherin. Does not cross-react with human, bovine, chicken or dog E-cadherin.
APPLICATION:	Functional Application: Inhibits E-cadherin-dependent cell-cell contact (200µg/ml).
