PURITY DETAIL: Purified from serum-free cell culture supernatant by subsequent thiophilic adsorption and size exclusion chromatography.
FORMULATION: Lyophilized from 1ml PBS, 0.09% sodium azide, PEG and sucrose.
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute with 1ml distilled water (15 min., RT).
IMMUNOGEN: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 1165-1186 of EGF receptor (epidermal growth factor receptor).
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes the C-terminus of human EGF receptor (aa 1165-1186). Recognition is independent of phosphorylation of Tyr1173.
APPLICATION: Immunocytochemistry: 0.1-1µg/ml

Western Blot: (1µg/ml µg/ml for HRPO/ECL detection). Recommended blocking buffer CPPT: 10mM TRIS-HCl, pH 7.4, 0.5% (w/v) casein, 1% (w/v) PEG 4’000, 1% (w/v) polyvinylpyrrolidone, 0.1% (v/v) Tween 20, 150mM sodium chloride.
