SOURCE/HOST:	Obtained by fusing the mouse myeloma cells line P3U1 with splenocytes of BALB/c mouse immunized with KLH-conjugated peptide from human osteocalcin. Purified from ascites by ammonium sulfate precipitation and anion exchange chromatography.
FORMULATION:	Lyophilized from 10mM PBS, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide.
RECONSTITUTION:	Dissolve in 50µl distilled water to a final concentration of 2mg/ml. Dilute with 10mM PBS, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide.
IMMUNOGEN:	Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa 14-30 human osteocalcin decarboxylated glutamic acid residues 21 and 24.
SPECIFICITY:	Recognizes human osteocalcin with decarboxylated glutamic acid residues 21 and 24. Cross-reacts with rat, goat, sheep, pig, bovine, rabbit and guinea pig osteocalcin. Does not cross-react with Gla-type osteocalcin.
APPLICATION:	ELISA: 5-10µg/ml. Colorimetric detection; use combination of clones GluOC4-5 (solid phase) and OCG3 (labelled) (Prod. No. ALX-804-536). Immunohistochemistry (paraffin sections): 5-10µg/ml. Fixation by AMeX modified method. Western Blot: 5-10µg/ml
