SOURCE/HOST: Produced in HEK 293 cells. The cysteine-rich domain of human NGFR (nerve growth factor receptor; p75NTR) (aa 1-264) is fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1.
CONCENTRATION: 1mg/ml after reconstitution.
PURITY: ≥90% (SDS-PAGE)
FORMULATION: Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
ENDOTOXIN CONTENT: <0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Bio Whittaker).
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute in 50µl sterile water. Further dilutions can be made with medium containing 5% fetal calf serum.
SPECIFICITY: Binds human, mouse and rat NGF (nerve growth factor).
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY: Inhibits rat NGF-mediated activation of rat PC12 cells.
SHIPPING: SHIPPED ON BLUE ICE
LONG TERM STORAGE: -20°C
USE/STABILITY: Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20°C. After reconstitution, it is recommended to make appropriate aliquots and to store them at -20°C.
HANDLING: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
