Product Description

Provides an accurate and convenient method for measurement of total nitrate/nitrite concentration in a simple two-step process.
First step: conversion of nitrate to nitrite utilizing nitrate reductase.
Second step: addition of DAN reagent and NaOH followed by fluorescent measurement. Lower limit of detection ~0.02µM.

The kit includes sufficient reagents for assay of total NO (nitrate + nitrite) in 2x96 wells, together with a third 96 well plate for measurement of nitrite only.
