Product Description
Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Inhibits the phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinase MEK. Suppresses the expression of matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) 1, 3 and 9, that are involved in the breakdown of the extracellular matrix during tumor metastasis. Suppresses NF-κB transcriptional activation, nitric oxide (NO) and PGE2 production, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS; NOS II) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression in LPS-activated RAW cells.
