Product Description
Gentamycin-class aminoglycoside antibiotic. Cytotoxic to prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells. Induces apoptosis. Widely employed in the selection of eukaryotic expression vectors, in combination with either aminoglycoside phosphotransferase 3’ or APH II.

Product Description
Inhibitor of N-acetylglucosamine kinase (Ki=17µM) and N-acetylmannosamine kinase (Ki=80µM). It has been found that 3-OMe-GlcNAc potently inhibits glucose phosphorylation by N-acetylglucosamine kinase whereas glucokinase is not at all affected by this hexosamine.
