Product Description
Inhibitor of N-acetylglucosamine kinase (K
i
=17µM) and N-acetylmannosamine kinase (K
i
=80µM). It has been found that 3-OMe-GlcNAc potently inhibits glucose phosphorylation by N-acetylglucosamine kinase whereas glucokinase is not at all affected by this hexosamine.
