Product Description

Potent PPARγ receptor agonist which competes for the thiazoladinedione binding site. More potent than 15-deoxy-Δ^12,14-prostaglandin J₂(Prod. No. ALX-340-022), and equipotent with rosiglitazone as a ligand for this receptor. Confers CD36 scavenger receptor binding affinity to LDL and may be one of the important structural determinants of oxLDL.
