Product Description

Potent, noncompetitive inhibitor of monoacylglycerol lipase (MGL), which hydrolyzes 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG) to arachidonic acid and glycerol. IC50=200nM for the recombinant rat brain enzyme. Inhibits rat brain fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) less effectively (IC50=32µM) and binds weakly to the rat CB1 receptor (IC50=3.8µM).

Product Specific Literature References
