Product Description

FITC-labelled recombinant human annexin V shows bright green fluorescence. SYTOX green dye is impermeant to live cells and apoptotic cells, but stains necrotic cells with intense green fluorescence (Ex(max): 488nm; Em(max): 530nm). Apoptotic cells show green fluorescence, dead cells show a higher level of green fluorescence and live cells show little or no fluorescence. By using the FL1 channel in FC, other channels are free for multiple labelling experiments.

SPECIFICITY:	Recognizes human annexin V (VAC-α).
APPLICATION:	ELISA Flow Cytometry: VAA-33 is suitable as primary antibody. VAA-33-FITC can be used for direct staining of cells and is also recommended for intracellular stainings; it was successfully used at a dilution of 1:20 on K562 cells after permeabilization of cells with IntraStain. VAA-33-Biotin can be used in a two-step procedure using the biotin-(strept-)avidin system. Western Blot Optimal conditions must be determined individually for each application.
