Specific substrate for casein kinase II, derived from the kinase II phosphorylation site found in casein. Is not being phosphorylated by casein kinase I, cAMP-dependent protein kinase, protein kinase G, myosin light chain kinase, phosphorylase kinase and EGF receptor kinase.

RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute with 1ml distilled water (15 min., RT).
IMMUNOGEN: Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to CKII (casein kinase II) substrate consensus phosphorylation site of activated CKII substrate.
SPECIFICITY: Recognizes DpSD motif of activated CKII substrate in a broad range of species.
APPLICATION: ELISA (non-radioactive quantification of phospho-peptides in kinase/phosphatase assays; use at 0.1-1µg/ml).
Note: Not suitable for Western blot!
