SPECIES CROSSREACTIVITY:

Mouse
MW: ~18-20kDa (SDS-PAGE).
SOURCE/HOST: Produced in E. coli. The extracellular domain of human TWEAK (aa 106-249) is fused at the N-terminus to a linker peptide (11 aa) and a FLAG®-tag.
CONCENTRATION: 0.1mg/ml after reconstitution.
PURITY: ≥95% (SDS-PAGE)
FORMULATION: Lyophilized. Contains PBS.
ENDOTOXIN CONTENT: <0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Bio Whittaker).
RECONSTITUTION: Reconstitute with 100µl sterile water. Further dilutions should be made with medium containing 5% fetal calf serum.
SPECIFICITY: Binds to human and mouse Fn14 (TWEAK-R).
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY: Kills TWEAK sensitive cells. Has a pro-apoptotic effect on several target cell lines. Induces angiogenesis and proliferation in endothelial cells.

LONG TERM STORAGE: -20°C
USE/STABILITY: Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20°C.
HANDLING: After reconstitution, prepare aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
