Product Description
Non-ionic detergent similar to n-octyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (Prod. No. ALX-500-001). However, increased alkyl chain length has been shown to increase thermal stability of lipid-free rhodopsin in solution. Applicable to membrane-protein solubilization studies.
